I'm always on the watch for articles or videos that display or discuss the many uses of concrete. When I came across this article on the new Art Museum in Miami, Florida, what came to my mind is "how beautiful is concrete" What I'm trying to say is concrete when used as a medium in the hands of a creative architect can be extremely beautiful.
The article entitled: First Look: Herzog & de Meuron's Perez Art Museum Miami
describes the design of this structure so well when it says, “The building shows everything that it has, everything is exposed,” said Herzog. “It’s almost naked.” Concrete lends mass to the walls, while wood warms up thresholds.
