This could have a major impact with concrete damage, concrete defect and ultimately concrete failure. This new concrete mix design technology has a positive effect on the strength and curing process of concrete.

At Building Forensics International we investigate concrete failure on an ongoing basis. It's what BFI does. The improvement in concrete mix design that would allow concrete to last for up to 1000 years is quite the claim. This is what Shimizu is touting the performance of their new concrete mix design.
